What is the Tucson 48hr Film Shootout?
Tucson 48hr Film Shootout is a Forty Eight Hour Film Competition and Festival modeled after a similar event that originated in Washington D.C.. Teams of filmmakers will have 48 hours to write, pre-produce, cast, shoot, and edit, an original short film four to seven minutes long. The following week, the films will be screened at The Loft Cinema in Tucson, Arizona. Awards—determined by a panel of judges—will given for Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, etc, and announced following the screening.
