DREAM fest, Inc. [Diversity Rewarding Enchanting Art & Media] has been formed as a 501 [c] 3 non-profit corporation to establish an international, independent multi-media festival, trade/production/job expo to level the playing field and showcase:
1) Filmmaking in all its components (Above & Below-the-line), forms and media outlets including but not limited to: Feature Narratives, Feature Documentaries, Narrative Shorts, Documentary Shorts, Webisodes, Mobisodes, Music Videos, etc.
2) Live performing arts: music (vocal / instrumental), dance, theatre, etc.
3) Visual arts: southwestern art in all it mediums: sculpture, metal work, wood work, painting, mixed medium, clay, stone, fabric, silver, nickel, copper, charcoal, colored pencil, drawing pencil, oil paint, acrylic paint, paper, plaster gauze, computer, photography, puffy paint, watercolor paint, printmaking, etc.
4) Open the door for independent filmmakers of all communities by showcasing Albuquerque, New Mexico’s most comprehensive film incentive, resource & support package.
5) Serve as a clearinghouse for entertainment industry representatives seeking quality products utilizing the rich talent and resources of our diverse filmmaking communities
6) Develop new talent from our diverse communities by providing workshops, seminars, mentoring programs, etc.
DREAM fest will be produced by Bob Nuchow. Bob created the Screen Actors Guild national speaker series Conversations & its screening spin-off Roll Film as one of its Foundation's program directors producing 100's of events with award winning actors, directors, producers, and screenwriters benefiting actors and the greater entertainment community in 20 cities with over 100,000 attending from 2001 - 2006.
