Filtermist is a 4 peice band out of Berthoud, CO with Stephanie kruger (Vocals), Chris Scott (Drumes), Erick Tapia (Guitar),Cassy Brewster (Bass).
Filtermist all started When Erick Tapia a highschool junior Met Cassy brewster a highschool senior.The two had been introduced in there painting class. From there Erick found out that cassy played bass and cassy found out that erick played guitar. The two decided they wantetd to start a band from there. That same day Cassy had contacted Stephanie Kruger, she was a junior in highschool at the time to. They decided they wanted her amazing voice in the band. Later on Erick decided to give Chris Scott a call and ask If he would like to play drums for them. Erick had known Chris for some time and had rememberd that he played drums. Chris instintally said yes he would play drums for them. Thats when Filtermist was born.We have A heavy yet gentle sound to our music. with stephanie Krugers experience with being in a lighter acoustic band and erick tapia,Chris scott and cassy brewsters experiance with hardcore and metal. we have a sound that is surly original. We are currently in the studio and playing local shows around Colorado....
