In music it's all about time well spent in the practice room...in life it's all about time humbly spent in our private prayer closets.
Soli Deo Gloria! This space is primarily dedicated to my passion and calling in life---writing songs for the glory of God; songs for the bride of Christ, His redeemed people, the church.
I enjoy almost all kinds of music. I appreciate every kind of artist who pursues their craft with excellence and remains humble in achieving accolades and praise from the world.
I was privileged to have received some of the best musical training in the world: Converse College/Bachelor's--The Juilliard School/Master's. I am indebted to the teachers and peers who helped shape my musicianship, and those who do so now. Ever learning and refining my craft.
I also love to teach and find the longer I'm at it, the more I am learning...and that from my students.
I absolutely love being an aunt, and spoiling my nephews and nieces. All of them!!!!!
I have a lot of great friends who keep me on the straight and narrow way...what a blessing to have godly, caring, loving friends.
Thanks for visiting and listening. I pray you will be blessed in your life and know life's richest blessing of all: the Lord, Christ Jesus.

i was thinking carrier pigeon... but then i remembered that there is a rare breed of hawks in South Georgia that love to eat pigeons so it probably wouldn't make it down there. Sadly that was my last good idea.
I have remembered. His card has been on my desk for about a week. . . it has been a good day. I wish I could have come down but God had a reason for me staying here. it's in my most recent blog
I am going to be putting on a clothing/food/school supply drive for The Source here in Vero Beach, FL. The source is a faith based charity that helps the homeless and less fortunate people in our community. This drive is being held as my project as an Eagle candidate. The date of the drive is September 8, 2007, and you can drop off items from 9am-12noon. It will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church located on the East side of 43rd Ave., between 16th St. and SR 60. If you have any clean, gently used clothing that you want to get rid of, bring it by. I am also collecting non-perishable food and school supplies. My goals for this project are 600 items of food, enough clothing for 100 people, and enough school supplies for 15 students. Of course I am hoping to do much better than that, so I could really use your help. What is more important, is that people in our community could really use your help. If you have any ? about it, message me.
No need to apologize. I totally understand. You are going through stuff, it is alright!! Look I am going through stuff right now also. Of course it is totally different than you. I am scare to death about next week. I am excited about it then part of me wants to crawl in a hole and not go. I am on my own here this time, no help from a supervising teacher like the intern ship. Totally on my own!! Please pray for me.
I would love to come on Labor Day weekend but I have given my word that I will be at church that morning. I will have to teach Sunday school for the entire youth group because every other teacher is going to be out of town (probably like most other youth)
It was okay. Open the Eyes of My Heart was great!!! David did a great job with the band playing it. the resy of the music was aweful!! Choir anthem was aweful. Frank was on the mark. And in Mark 5!! Sermon was about DEMONS!!! You need to rent Three and you will get the whole story of Frank's sermon. Will talk to you about it later.
I do own the moive and I love it. Even though it is rather dark and weird and sometimes just plain gross. But it still rocks. If you come and see me then I will let you watch it . . . *hopes that works*
