Soothing lullabys, evil metal and an angry ginger guy screaming indeterminate but very likely soul scarring lyrics while being battered around the head by a baby holding a rolling pin. If you enjoy 10 minute bursts of noise, chewing on lightbulbs, rolling in your own filth or touching yourself to the delicate sound of raindrops falling upon ravished flesh then you may well enjoy the gentle melodies of Final Coil. We also like reading Thomas the Tank engine.
Final Coil's Showcase
NEW EP COMING: "Everything Electric" will be released in April. Featuring four songs (You waste my time, IH, Torn apart and the long awaited pop song) the EP will be the first Final Coil release to be commercially available. Final Coil are an art rock assault on the senses with a hint of punk and a pinch of metal (not to mention a twist of pop!). Never satisfied with hiding in just one genre you can be sure of finding a wide variety of styles, even over the course of one song! Influenced by the likes of Sonic Youth, Butthole surfers, the Levelers and NIN it's a pretty twisted world FInal COil inhabits... Basically the recording duo of Philip "Pip" Stiles and Richard Awdry, Final Coil have recorded two records (2005's Endless Lack of reason and 2006's preparing for terror) and will be returning to the studio in the near future for the next one. Final coil, following a successful bout of gigging in Poland is back in England. The new band features the return of Richard on guitar, Martin on drums and Lou on backing vocals and now also includes Jola on Bass and Mycu on guitar. Already practicing regularly, live dates will be announced soon.

ah ha! i was wondering when the wanderer would return! lo hath he arrived! fuck sake! why the fuck would i want to come to swanage of all places!! i live in fucking brighton, and you were the bloody one complaining about not being invited- get your fucking no good bastard arse down here now before i come there and drag you here by your anal beard. On a lighter note i can't take any time off during the week, but my weekends are totally free for the next few weeks, unfortunately there is no way i'm gonna be able to afford to get to swanage, i'm just going from weekly pay to monthly so i'm living on a serious budget, so YOU should really come down here! you can't tell me you'd prefer to spend a weekend in swanage over brighton, and if you did i wouldn't believe you, or i'd slap you for being so stupid! besides i know some polish peeps who'd be pretty impressed with yer polish- do you require any further reasoning or do i need to get biblical on your ass
hmm, dunno if I manage to come then as I start my final exams at school on 4th of may :P but a meeting in radom/sko/kielce/wherever seems ok :)
