I Final Thrash si formano nel gennaio 2002 iniziando subito a comporre pezzi propri e scartando l'idea di essere una comune cover band; la prima formazione vede Gabriele alla batteria, Daniele alla chitarra e Fabio alla voce.
Durante l'estate 2003 viene inciso l'album/demo "Time To Die"; il genere proposto è un thrash metal semplice, ma d'impatto con un cantato in growl/scream e diversi inserti melodici e arpeggi di chitarra.Non riuscendo a trovare un bassista fisso viene reclutato un amico comune della band per le registrazioni.
Il periodo compreso tra il 2004 e il 2005 è caratterizzato da una frequente attività in sala prove, numerosi concerti nei locali della zona, ma soprattutto da continui cambi di formazione (al trio originale si sono alternanati 3 bassisti e 2 chitarristi,e in più di un'occasione i Final Thrash furono costretti ad esibirsi come quartetto).Solamente nel 2006 finalmente si riesce a raggiungere una line up stabile con l'ingresso di Tommy al basso e di Davide alla chitarra.
Nei mesi di giugno/luglio 2006 viene registrato il secondo lavoro intitolato "No Way Out".Pezzi di breve durata, ritmi di batteria più veloci, vocals maggiormente varie e curate e una sezione ritmica decisamente migliore. Il genere è un death metal di stampo americano, influenzato soprattutto da gruppi come Six Feet Under ed Obituary.
"No Way Out" pur non proponendo niente di nuovo o di innovativo riceve recensioni positive un po' da chiunque,sia dagli acquirenti (il cd è interamente autoprodotto, non ha distribuzione: viene venduto "a mano" durante i concerti) sia dalle riviste/web-zine del settore; a giugno 2007 esce SG Revolution vol.2 (una raccolta doppia comprendente le migliori realtà del panorama underground italiano) dove i Final Thrash sono presenti con il brano "Phantom" mentre in settembre 2007 viene pubblicata Lvceria In Fire vol.1 (la prima raccolta curata dalla neo nata Lvceria Records) dove è presente il pezzo "This Little Thing".
La formazione è ormai ben rodata e affiatata e nel giro di un anno vengono concepite 8 nuove canzoni che nei mesi di luglio/agosto 2007 verrano registrate nel promo intitolato "In The Basement".
About Final Thrash
Final Thrash started in 2002, creating their own songs and got rid of the idea of being a common cover band. Gabriele the drummer, Dany the guitarist and Fabio the singer were the very first formation of the band. During summer 2003 the album "Time To Die" has been recorded; the genre is a simple thrash metal but with a deep impact with a growl/scream voice and a lot of different melodic inserts and guitar tricks. For the first recording sessions a friend of the band has been recruited as a bass player.
The period between 2004 and 2005 has been characterised by an intense work in studio, a lot of concerts in local clubs but, above all, by many changes in the band formation (starting from the original trio there have been 3 bass players and 2 guitarists and more than once Final Thrash have performed in four). Only in 2006 the band reached a stable line up with Tommy as bass player and Davide as guitarist.
In June/July 2006 the second work "No Way Out" has been recorded. Short tracks, faster drum rates, various and clearer vocals and a better rhythmic section. An american death metal, influenced by groups like Six Feet Under and Obituary.
Even if "No Way Out" doesn't bring anything new or any innovation, gets positive reviews both from the fans (the album is completely self-produced and sold during concerts) and from magazines and web-zines of the field.
In June 2007 SG Revolution vol.2 has been released (a double collection of the best italian undergruond bands) where Final Thrash performed "Phantom".
In September 2007 Lvceria In Fire vol.1 has been released (the very first collection of the new Lvceria Records) where appears "This Little Thing".
The band is now getting along well and in a year 8 new songs have been composed and recorded in July/August 2007 in the promo album "In The Basement".
