Dianne has participated in a multitude of NYC productions, most notably as Associate Conductor and Vocal Arranger of the Broadway Musical, Starmites, which received six Tony nominations, including Best Musical. As musical director, coach and pianist, she has worked with Grammy Award-winning artist Cleo Laine, as well as Tony-Recipient Nathan Lane (The Producers).
James is originally from Denver, Colorado, and has been actively involved in the field of music in many capacities, from composer/lyricist, to producer/arranger, and sound engineer. As composer and arranger, he created music for Shakespeare’s The Tempest and in collaboration with librettist/director, Jon Walter, he completed scores for 5 dramatic works. One of the works, their musical fairy tale, Rapunzel and the Dragons, led James to New York City for an Off-Broadway production at the Actors Playhouse, for which he served as musical director/conductor.

Barrandov Studios is the production hub for the international film and television community. Our Czech flag often flies alongside those of the United States, Great Britain, France, Germany, or Russia. Various social events and functions are also held at the multipurpose Barrandov stages.
"I have worked in practically all of the studios of the world and at least visited many of them, and I think this is the finest. Nowhere else could we have made this film in such a way as we did here.“

About me:
The story of Finch & Lily found me. It gently tapped me on the shoulder and invited me on an amazing journey. With all that is fearsome about the world, Finch & Lily touched that place in me that wanted to give instead of take, smile instead of frown, and above all things to love others through random acts of kindness.
Please follow me as I join hands with an amazing array of people, talented and generous individuals that have come together to present a film that strives to inspire the better part of our nature.
In a place that is both magical and genuine, welcome to the wonderful world of Finch & Lily.

Who I'd like to meet:
Appearing out of nowhere, a mysterious 40-year-old Albert Finch takes up residence at a rundown transient hotel, The Starbrite. There he befriends agoraphobic Lily Crumb and an array of characters that benefit in odd and miraculous ways from his simply "being there". But Finch has a secret that will alter their lives forever, bringing a little bit of heaven to the residents of the Starbrite hotel.
the setting
Finch & Lily takes place in an ominous surreal Chicago city with Depression Era style clothing, cars, and buildings circa 1930s. Finch & Lily live and work in a dark, yet beautifully Gothic world: black, white, and gray with tiny hints of lavender.

RISING YEAR
Deafening waves shore t’ shore
Year lost t’ year found
Pop n’ fizz the potions pour
Sways the crowd t’ stir thy step
Ring o’ bells t’ toll shadows past
Eyes aloft a murky sky
Stars twinkling,
Winking from out gnarled clouds
Sun sleeps whilst we beckon beneath
Lift spirits high t’ higher still
Earth rumbles t’ reverberate
Newborn fingers break the concrete soil
Emerging as the clocks gust twelve
Ripping from the thickest thunder
Another
Rising year

Wishing you the most gruesomely fabulous Christmas :)
How are you my lovely friend?
XO
THANKS GIVING
T’detach such ripened folklore
brusque wings
stuffed n’ left ripe
liberty purged t’naught
as if ritual ghostly natives typify
stakes aflame n’ hands severed
to clear these from the table
t’glance about at faces known
family n’ friends
wishing t’be as one
that in nodded heads
soft whispers
pray thee
end all tyranny
power t’the ample
the few but never more
truly truly
this is t’be celebrated
in peace
a fresh
thanks giving

‘tis a showman
