Have you seen our friend Alan Templeton (see the poster above)? He has been missing since November 26th 2006 & we're all very worried - please get in touch if you know where he is...
If you have seen him call the National Missing Persons Helpline on 0500 700 700. This is a 24 hour confidential freephone service run by the charity Missing People, who also provide a confidential helpline for runaways and operate a Message Home service. The helpline number from outside the UK is +44 (0)20 8392 4545.
27-year-old Alan Kenneth Templeton was last seen at around 11am on 26th November 2006 leaving a friend's flat in Rankine Road in Edinburgh.
Although born and brought up in Edinburgh, Alan had been living and working in Paris for exactly two years before returning to Scotland in October 2006. He stayed with his parents in the Pitlochry area for a few weeks before travelling to Edinburgh where he stayed with different friends in the area before he disappeared on 26 November 2006.
Alan is described as being around 6'4" in height, and has brown hair, blue eyes, and a fair complexion. He was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt, jeans, and possibly trainers.
Alan has many friends in both Paris and Edinburgh; he was also a student at Aberystwyth University between 2000 and 2003 and it's possible he may have contacts in the area.

UPDATE MARCH 31ST 2009
Alan's brother Calum Templeton will be running the 2009 Flora London Marathon on April 26th, to raise money for the charity Missing People who have been instrumental in helping to raise awareness of Alan's case.
He's already managed to raise two thirds of his target, and a massive THANK YOU goes out to all of you, friends and colleagues and general well-wishers, who've already helped by giving to this amazing charity.
