Chasing Redemption has a strong blues, Latin, Pop and rock feel, all they're songs have a little of each, they're strongest influences would be Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Cold Play yet they don't really sound like anybody. they're form of acoustic music is the perfect mix of dark and light vibes that make them so interesting to listen to. It's hard to hide emotion with the guitar and cello playing together.
This band was formed in Cary, North Cakalackie in January 2005. Chasing Redemption is now not able to play live being that the band members all live 3000 miles from eachother, Justin in WA st. Alex in Upstate NY, and Joe still in N.C.. The band has not officially broken up and are still working on new material, they just have to email samples to eachother over a vast distance.
