Jessie Marie and Chloe Leann Davis, both went home to be with the Lord together on June 14, 2007.
Jessie was born in Waco, Texas and resided in the Akron area for the past ten years where she graduated from Coventry High School and was working for Allstate Insurance Co. in Hudson.
Preceded in death by her grandparents, Malcolm and Bessie Porter and Henry Davis, survivors include her loving son, Blake; mother Patty Porter; father, Ned Davis; sisters, Jane, Whitney and Audrey Davis; brothers, Christopher, Caylon and David Davis; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, June 30, 2007, 11 a.m. at The House of the Lord, 1650 Diagonal Rd., Akron, OH 44320, Pastor Dennis K. Butts Sr., officiating and Bishop F. Josephus Johnson II eulogizing. Interment at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Calling hours TODAY from 2 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m., all at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Blake Davis Trust Fund at any Chase Bank.
Jessie I wanted to let you know that my hubby beat me only 3 days after we got married, he tryd to kill me I was in the I.C.U Now Iam helping out with batterd people we had a candle light vis, I used my candle for you and Chloe, every year I have lit this same candle on the same day in Oct, your in my heart and I belive I made it to show others there our people to stand to make laws to help stop what men do, I loved my hubby and allways will but I dont deserve to be beaten for know reason at all and haveing my kids see what he done to me ,,,God Bless you sweet love my candle will allways burn on that Oct nite in mem of you I love you we miss you !!!
Jessie,even knowing your not with us I must say what is on my heart I new my husban for years befor getting marriend on June22nd 2009 only ten days after this he beat me till I new nothing when he 1st begain to beat me I seen my life flash befor me ,my kids and then an angel sent your face to me I don't know how I made it out ,but thank God I did Iam now Dorviced and he is still out there ,I live in fear only hopeing and praying he neaver finds me,,,you have blessed me so much and you will allways have a place in my heart,,,,much love I will neaver forget you!!
