   About Queen Anne’s Revenge

'Queen Anne's Revenge' is the title given to Findlay Napier and Nick Turner's song writing partnership. They have created the song-writing duo that has plundered the high seas of popular music to craft songs that are at once universal and uniquely Scottish. Finally, after the release of their first self titled album and with the second due out this year, it is time to bring the songs to a larger audience.

Findlay Napier is best known for his work with multi award winning traditional band ‘Back of the Moon’ but his most recent live outings have been with his new band 'Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers'. The new band blends the contemporary lyrics and sound of the 'Queen Anne's Revenge' material with traditional songs of Scotland.

To hear all the 'Queen Anne's Revenge' songs go to www.queenannesrevenge.co.uk and to hear 'Findlay Napier and the Bar Room Mountaineers' performing the songs go to www.findlaynapier.com.

Nick, since I am the best dogsitter in the universe, and you are by no means jealous of the fact Killick loves me more than you, will you please put some new songs up and let me add them on my page? Otherwise I'll just have to run the risk of getting my account deleted and breaching copyright laws by adding some choonz myself! Think of it as advertising, and not pandering to the needs of some psycho on the east coast...

Aye up Findlay, Was chatting to Douglas round at Iains the other night and told me about yur recent vermin problem. I suggest you buy a decent airgun before they ban them and try this:-

Squirrel Stew
Ingredients:
1 squirrel, quartered
1 cup diced onion
2 large tomatoes (from your garden) or 1 can of tomatoes
Assorted fresh ,or canned veggies
Preparation:
Sprinkle seasoned salt, pepper, and cayenne pepper (optional) liberally on the meat. Pour some cooking oil into a large pot (dutch oven). Sauté the meat with the onions until well browned. Drain the excess oil, add about 2 cups water, and bring to a boil. Cut up the tomatoes and add. If you use canned tomatoes add them now. Turn down the heat, and let slow cook for at least an hour. Important: older squirrels may require cooking longer than an hour. Check periodically for tenderness. If you don't you will have a hard time chewing the meat. After the meat is tender, add the veggies, carrots, potatoes, banana pepper, what ever you like. Cook until the veggies are done. An option you can use is, cook up your favorite pasta and serve over the pasta. (eliminate the potatoes). That's it, nice and simple ~ Good eating: John

Listened to "George" heaps. Great to hear you singing with drums and bass behind you. Cool song. Let me know if you are up in the A-Shire and we could meet for a Springbank. Jaff.
