I love hanging with my friends, being spontaneous and stupid. I enjoy making memories with my daughter and watching her experience everything that life has to offer. I am passionate about writing. I have been published for some of my poetry, but am focusing now on songwriting and am in the beginning phases of a book. With God, all things are possible.

There is a song that relates to practically every memory I have. Music is something that I love and will always enjoy. My CD collection ranges from Classic Rock to Country, Opera to 80's, Folk to Alternative Grunge and a good selection of worship music thrown in. I can never make up my mind on which CD to listen to, so I'm a HUGE mixed CD fan...I mean seriously...Abba to Metallica then the Wicked Soundtrack?? Yeah baby...yeah!
Movies
I have this insane movie collection...that grows almost constantly. I love to laugh, and I am a huge sap so I have a lot of comedies and chick flicks. I also enjoy a good adventure/suspense flick so you can find ALMOST anything in my collection...including all 7 seasons of Buffy and Gilmore Girls...and before you finish your next thought, remember thou shall not judge...

Books
I am a fan of the classics and of the obscure. I think that the use of technology has lessened the love for the written word for the population at large and I think its horrible. I walked into a library and almost everyone except the librarians were at the computers and 90% of them were on Myspace. Read a book kids. It won't kill you. The best book ever written? The Bible...more plot twists, character development, emotion and TRUTH in a single source than you could find in a lifetime of looking.
Heroes
Those who are unafraid and unashamed of their faith. Those who look at people without judgment, but with a heart of compassion and who understand that we all have the power to impact our world...if we only just take it.
I am passionately committed to my walk with God. I'm a mother, a business owner, a writer, and several other adjectives from the Merideth Brooks song. I love obscure trivia and rambling conversations. I spend an inordinate amount of time with my friends and family, and we often act like children...it keeps us young. I tend to write as my catharsis. Music is a passion, though, in spite of my best efforts, I am better at the lyrics than the melodies. I laugh too loud and at inopportune moments, but will not apologize for it. I can talk to strangers in line at grocery stores, but have a hard time talking to people I look up to, or admire. I am a genuinely happy person who cries at sappy commercials, oh and my sister and my brothers and I all have crooked pinky fingers.
