FINEPRINT AUDIO(formerly the FINEPRINT SOUNDSYSTEM) are 3 producers, a drummer, a singer and an MC who form a live drum and bass, dubstep, J-tek and breaks band from the uk westcountryside. After DJ Bailey was first to play Renzo's 'Relentless Dub' on 1xtras Intabeats in 2006, a handful of their tracks were dropped repeatedly throughout 2007 by many of dnbs heavyweights. After many years of playing dnb as a live band at home without an audience, it seemed like a perfect time to unleash their live act on the world,as they felt they had a unique sound to offer. A steady run of big events since then has seen them support many of the top names in dnb, including GROOVERIDER,BAILEY,KLUTE,TC,BLACK SUN EMPIRE,EZ ROLLERS,DOM+ROLAND and PENDULUM. On the breaks+dubstep side of things they have played at nights with DJ FOOD, BREAKFASTAZ, SMITH+MIGHTY, KILLA KELLA,N-TYPE+JAKES. The FINEPRINT AUDIO live act have recently headlined some events locally, they now play regularly in Devon, Bristol and Portsmouth and are proud to be featured on the 'NoRestForTheWicked' website, which is the internet home for links to only the best live DnB bands. They are now residents at 'QUAKE!', an event in Devon that puts on the biggest names in futuristic dnb and dubstep. In 2009, the band have been working on new material for a forthcoming album-watch this space- Merge had heavy radio play of his track 'Ruffcutter' and Renzo also had widespread radio play of his track 'My Girl'. New tracks will be available from ITunes,Amazon,Juno,Beatport etc soon.
