About me:
Frederick “Nick” Nichelson is founder and president of Nichelson Entertainment. Nichelson grew up on the fertile musical grounds of Memphis, TN. He later earned a BBA at the prestigious University of N. Texas in Denton, Texas. It was there that he formed smooth jazz/soul group Fingerprints. This act went on to perform hundreds of shows throughout the US. Their 4 CDs have charted on both Radio and Records and the Gavin Report. It was this success that led to the company signing and promoting other acts from all over the country. They include Shelley Carrol, Kyle Turner, Brooklyn Soul Organization, and South Soul Rhythm Section. Nichelson has directed many campaigns to increase the exposure of these and other emerging artists.

In addition to working with the afore mentioned acts, Nichelson has toured or recorded with many artists such as Kyle Turner, Marion Meadows, Ronnie Laws, Tom Browne, and Miles Jaye. Songs from his publishing company, South Memphis Music, Inc. (BMI) have been used by corporations such as Kohls and Frito-Lay. You can also hear songs in the movie, Black Snake Moan (2006)
