BIO:
MEMPHIS TENNESSEE CALLING OUTER SPACE.
(dateline March 5th, 1951)
ROCKET 88 (considered by many to be the first rock and roll song) suggests a phallic rocket ship hurled into space. A shape created by Man that breaks the sound barrier, recorded by the Delta Cats in hopes to break the color barrier with an broken amplifier stuffed with newspaper headlines from March 5, 1951 creating with Sam Phillips help at Sun Studio, the first distorted guitar. When played on the radio, it all winds up in outer space. HOUSTON, WE HAVE A ROCK ROLL BAND
SINGERS TIMELINE:
We didn’t do too bad for a band that was mostly
treated like a hostage, pushed into a mercedes benz in the middle of
the night and rushed to undisclosed forbidden locations. Eight
singers, eight lanets. Eight months. A shadow band. Made from the
pieces of other bands. "The Spiders From Lamar". Over 250 years of
rock and roll experience between us.
