Uploaded above are 4 tracks from the debut album, Saving Face..
A piano based power trio that will simply leave you whistling!!
Chris Ingham (reviewer, MOJO Magazine)
"..In a world where so many young bands reach for the guitar as the default instrument, Fingersmith put the piano back in centre stage. A virtuosic power trio taking their cue from the rocking tradition of Little Richard and early Elton and stirring in the wry song craft of Randy Newman with a bad attitude borne of second-generation punk, Fingersmith are unique on todays scene. Passionate, musical and ambitious, Fingersmith have got the heart, the energy, the tunes and they're in for the long haul.."
Songwriter and pianist, Paul Schofield is mesmorisingly frantic; crashing down upon his keyboard and singing out like a viking!! These songs are are full of energy and the live shows in particular are a treat..
The unique sound of Fingersmith strikes out with memorable melodies rising over monstrous grooves. Potential single, Epiphany is evocative and inspiring; Debut will happily tear you from your seat and get those feet twitching all over the dancefloor while for the more hardcore music fan, songs such as Sunshine Soldiers and Man will stir you up into a frenzy!!

PLANET BEET HAS RETURNED to putting on gigs, but only occasional ones, and this time they're in Norwich, at B2.
Here's the lineup for our first one:
FRIDAY 25TH APRIL - PLANET BEET - NO PICASSO + TINMAN + THE GREAT SHAKES + THE LIDI BERLINS + DJs + Prizes @ B2, Norwich. £4 on the door. Doors Open 8pm. 14+ First band on very soon after the doors open, so arrive early!
Members of the bands will be DJing between sets, and there'll be a PRIZE for one lucky person.
PLUS, the gig will be recorded for our PLANET BEET RADIO SHOW (which gets 500,000 listeners per show!), which is presented by me, Mr Jason, every Wednesday on New York based BREAKTHRU RADIO (www. breakthruradio. com).
Also, coming up sooner than that is PLANET BEET PRIVATE PARTY #4. Every month we have bands playing to a strictly invite-only audience of friends at a secret location, which we also record for the Planet Beet radio show. We've sofar had the following bands play at these private parties: The Lost Levels, Long Bone Trio, The Three Fevers, Uh Ohs, The GeeGees, Thee Vicars, Social Group, The Foster Kids, Comic Book Heroes, and lots of drunken allstar jams..
PBPP4 is on Saturday 5th April, and will feature CATS AGAINST THE BOMB and more to be confirmed. Invites, as per usual, are VERY strictly limited. Though if you're a very enthusiastic music fan that will applaud and dance to all the acts, then message us for an invite, and you never know..
Hey Steve, course I remember you. Glad to hear the band's going well. I really like it! I'm recording a demo with my new band hopefully in the next couple of weeks :) Where are you based now?
