Shaun Hopper is a finger style guitarist with influences of Folk, Chet Atkins, and Irish, sometimes even percussion. Born in Adel, GA, he realized early at age 13 he wanted to play music and has not let up since. He has been making a mark with his music by opening for acts like The John Jorgenson Quintet, Bobby Yang, Switchfoot and has toured with
Tim Reynolds from the Dave Matthews Band. He has also received several endorsements like Larrivee Guitars, Fishman Acoustic Amplification, Laboga instrument cables, L.R. Baggs, Voodoo lab, Pedaltrain, GA Case Co. and Elixir Guitar Strings. In 2007, Shaun won 1st place for best instrumental song in Winfield, KS and earlier that year he placed 2nd in the Eddie's Attic Singer/Songwriter shootout without singing and was the first instrumentalist to exceed that far in the competition. Also in 07' he was named
"Best Musician on the Rise" by the Atlanta Journal Constitution. Shaun currently has an EP out titled "Once Written" with songs that Matt Glisson and Tommy Emmanuel help co-write with him. He is extremely thankful to God, his family and all the people that support and believe in him.
