About me:
The Finnish Metal Webzine [www.finnish-metal.net] was created in
summer 2004. The main reason to make this webzine was to have one
metal webzine dealing with the Finnish metal scene only. There was
none at this point, only 'general' zines dealing with international
bands. Thus, we were the first to pick up this idea (others followed)
and we continued growing. Our main goal never was to make lots of
advertising and to become extremely popular. We are just trying to
provide an information base (continuously growing band-archive, lots
of interviews, CD-reviews, live-reviews and a big photo gallery) all
about the Finnish metal scene.
This only works if there is people interested in the scene on both
sides, those creating the content (us) and those reading it (you). And
of course those making the music. So if you are from Finland and play
in a band (no matter how big) or know a band that isn't listed in our
archive yet, contact us. We also write reviews about demos (see more
under contact section of the website if you'd like your demo to be
reviewed), visit festivals and concerts, do interviews with bands and
we will see what comes next.

Just for the record, we only cover finnish bands. So we won't do interviews, reviews for bands from other countries.So please don't send us private messages about bands from outside Finland
