Alison Perkins: "The redhead... I mean, the blonde... no wait, brunette... no, now she's a redhead!" Alison has won multiple fiddle championships in the United States. She adds brilliant fiddle, tin whistle, vocals and constantly changing hair.

Dear Finvarra’s Wren, It's after Halloween and the busy holidays are approaching. Take a break and drop by to listen to my featured songs. You may find my music to be just the calm you need during this hectic time of the year. I appreciate your friendship and I hope you enjoy the music. I wish you much joy and peace.
What Bright and Lovely sounds you all make together! It's an inspiration to my heart and ears! I will always remember those friendly, musical nights at Four Green Fields. You helped me through a lonesome time. It's so good to hear you now. I Hope to see you in Michigan around Thanksgiving time. Wishing you all the best.
After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...
Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
