    Anything well-written, intelligent, well-acted and thought-provoking - I love most of the Film Four productions (My Beautiful Laundrette, The Crying Game) - and anything with a mystery or paranormal element (Sixth Sense, The Illusionist). Oh - and I'm not above a bit of mindless action a la Ronin or Bourne Identity either. ;) ..

    I rarely have my nose far from the pages of a book. Favourite authors include Tolkien, Dorothy Dunnett, Daphne du Maurier, Mary Renault, Mary Stewart and Patrick Gale. ..
