the real world, PROJECT RUNWAY, the surreal life, america's next top model, nip/tuck, survivor, vh1 list shows, court tv, father ted, tabloid wars, the view- even before rosie o'donnell (who was genius), meredith viera used to make me cry when I would feel homesick in Brooklyn. What can I say. When it comes to television, I embrace the cheese. All the shows I watch involve a minimal commitment.

You were right, of course. It's worse than I thought. Maybe I've been mistaking "settled" for "settling" all these years. Predictability and adoration are actually pretty nice.
How did I not notice until now that I have a Henry Miller fan on my myspace!? My fave book by him (so far) is Plexus. Read his "ramblings" about Vincent Van Goghs letters if you already haven't. Its beautiful.
