"Fiona Magee is rapidly developing a following in the Central Coast & Newcastle areas, and on tonight's performance its easy to see why. Some great original material, a dazzling instrumental, all delivered with a verve that belies her tender years." - Brackets & Jam Inc.
Fiona Magee is an eighteen year old singer, songwriter and guitarist from the NSW Central Coast. Combining blends of folk, blues and roots based music she has begun turning heads with appearances at such high class events as Coastfest 08, New Mardi Gras’ Fair Day and Newcastle Music Week. In 2009, Fiona is taking a gap year from a social work degree at Newcastle University to focus on her debut release. Her first EP “Skin and Bones” is currently in production and will include four original tracks . It will feature a full band and some very special guests.
