My interests: computers, teaching, poetry, fire-spinning, good friends, good beer, good whiskey | | Television | futurama, baby | | Books | I used to read actual paper books voraciously, now I find I spend a lot of time in front of the computer. I like fantasy and sci-fi mostly, some horror (usually of the dark-fantasy bent) and some mainstream. History and mythology. Eh, what's the use of genre labels anyway, right? I enjoy reading short-stories, so The Year's Best Fantasy and Horror is a staple each year. I also try to check out Strange Horizons as often as I remember.
I especially like a few online comics. Something Positive is a favorite, as are that artist's other projects. If you're easily offended, don't bother. I'm also fond of Order of the Stick and Penny Arcade. Yes, I have gaming geek cooties. Cope. |
