Hiya. I'm Fiora. I'm a singer, I play the violin & write for orchestra, and I lurve pop music.
Making sense of myself has taken me awhile but now there's basically three facets of my work. There is the Classical singing (mainly chamber works) - there is Flyphoenixx (a bit of an "other world" being born out of music) - and there is also my own version of pop music for which there is an album currently in the recording pipeline.
The rest of the time I write soundtracks and songs and particularly love arranging for orchestra. You might even hear some of my work on the recent Alanis Morissette record "Flavours of Entanglement."
Trying to juggle all the balls at once can be a bit challenging so feel free to write to me and tell me to get something finished (code for; kick my ass) It'd be a great motivator to know there were people who might like what I do. Thanks for your time and hope you like what you hear.
Fiora, it was lovely to meet you in person, if only for a moment, and also great to witness your vocal range: As if no effort at all you switched between opera voice and natural singing voice wherever it was more suitable, following the various demands of Paul's music - a rare-spread readiness of opera-trained singers I'd say! I very much enjoyed your "33"/ "The Carpenter"-song, it revealed most of these facets, great! Deep respect for this and hoping to see you again soon - in concert with Paul or in backstage-life :o)
Hey there. ^^ Just a random fan from the states. I check back from time to time to see if you've done anything new. Anything in the works? Your music is amazing. I'd love to be able to buy an album one of these days. ^^ Peace!
Ahhhhhhh....... This music is SO beautiful. I wait with bated breath to hear your next creation. And the MAC software is irresistible!!! Thanks for the link. Love you!!!
