Fire At Night is an Irish based promotional company. It is now run by a lone woman who, with the help of some amazing friends, and talented musicians and producers of everything arty farty, will nurse it back to life once again.
Roadkill was a Punk/Metal live music night held in Bray, Co. Wicklow on a monthly basis back in 2004/05. It was such a great experience I got addicted to making noise and having other people endure it. Plus it was a great way to get some of my favourite bands from all over to play to some of my favourite people in my home town.
All this time I was inlove with Jeff Buckley's music. In 2004, I attended the Official 10 year Anniversary Appreciation Night (Ireland) for Bill Hicks, and it was so touching to see mutual fans and admirers of Hicks get together and remember his talent. Noone had to say a word, everyone stood and watched together as old clips were shown and stories recounted, and everyone was strangely connected. I thought of Jeff Buckley. I wanted to make sure the Many many fans of his in this country would have somewhere to go and feel a little bit closer to him, while keeping his music live and loud year after year. So I got in touch with the amazing people at jeffbuckley.com and became the Irish correspondent for the Official Jeff Buckley Tribute Night's held all over the world. It's such a precious thing to me and all the fantastic Jeff fans who have helped, performed, attended and been part of, from the poster's being designed by my top brother, to my Dad at the end who goes to South Africa with The Niall Mellon Township Trust with money he himself has raised, and all of the kind people at the Tribute Night have raised and donated.
There were a few gigs here and there inbetween, which were all a huge part of this growing promotional company, which originally came from a need and drive to be a part of the ever-changing, unpredictable live music scene.
I will do my best to keep Roadkill-turned-Fire At Night kept going for as long as my life allows. Or atleast til my magazine gets going..;D
NEW FREE HERV DIGITAL RELEASE OUT NOW ON COCK ROCK DISCO!
Heres what label owner Jason Forrest had to say!
Herv: "Not figuratively, but literally in love with Music..."
"Ireland's sexiest laptopper lands his latest mini-album on Cock Rock Disco! "Not figuratively, but literally in love with Music..." is a rave inspired experimental break-acid-core thrill ride of endless ideas and possibilities. Herv packs a lot into the 8 tracks; melodies evolve and twist, beats fracture and congeal and synths collide! It's exciting! But that's not all, it comes with 2 cd designs and a freakin A0 sized poster! Whoa! Can't beat the value in that!"
Alien Hand's debut release serves up seven salubrious slices of Celtic mashcore mayhem guaranteed to enchant young and old alike! Available now from Digital Vomit Records.
This Friday 28th of August, I'm playing Pravda (Lower Liffey Street) in support to Blanca Transfer & in association with Club Fear... it's free in and should be a great night!! Thanks for reading & for all your support!!

There will be a limited guest list for this evening mail back to delayguestlist@hotmail.com with inigo kennedy in the title leaving your details and where you heard about the night.
Thanks a lot for the add. Tickets There prides itself on bringing you irregular updates and biased opinions on Irish music, as well as the odd mention of international acts.
If you have the time, please stop by and check out the blog.
