On paper Firedrill! doesn't make sense. On CD Firedrill! barely even exists. Fortunately for the Boston-based septuplets, Firedrill! audiences leave shows with a clear understanding of what the group is about. Some call it, "Singing without music." Others note the ever-present mutual ex-girlfriend and the, um, unique chemistry that results. However you say it, Firedrill!'s focus remains taking seven voices, seven day jobs and a Honda Civic-full of unpredictability and making fun, classy music. The group favors dynamics over boyband-ish gimmics, contagious enjoyment of songs over color-coordination and (of course) men over women. I mean, uh, in the sense of who's allowed in the group. Except the ex-girlfriend, Sasha, who is the keystone of a fragile arch of entangled emotional baggage.
Careful what you say, oh heckler..
UPDATES:
***Firedrill! bids a fond farewell to two tremendous slouches. Mark Manley and Eric Fosbury had "better things to do" and decided to "move on" to "better things". We were sad for just a moment and then the moment passed, we all took a swig of Jack and laughed our faces off!
***Firedrill! welcomes two tremendous slouches to replace above mentioned slouches.
+Dan Lennon (FOCS, Vote For Pedro, and Vineyard Sound-er) jumps into Fozz's shoes with no problem what-so-ever. Imagine, being the lucky bastard to replace Fozz's tiny little squeek of a voice.
+Paul Toms (BU Dear Abbeys and Hyannis Sound-er) joins the rank as "johnny-one-note-in-the-medium-low-range" hole. We're excited to have his youth, enthusiasm and sock-less loafers in our presence.
While we work on our new CD (available sometime in the year 2013) we are rebuilding our repertoire, getting the new guys caught up, learning some new kick-ass tunes and watching the playoffs. Expect to hear and see some interesting changes, delightful mockery of all things A Cappella and down right nastiness.
Hey guys! I just posted some tracks from my new album, AMEN. I hope you can take a few moments to listen. I've enjoyed your music immensely since I first heard you on the Martin Sexton live record. I would be honored to throw a little entertainment your way for once.
Hey firedrill! We just wanted to tell you that you guys sounded amazing at Sojam...as always. We missed you last year and we were glad to see you back!!!! :)

You really really need to find a recording of y'all singing "Panama." I've been waiting for 2 years to hear it again because it rocked my world! Please please record it. Pretty please?
