There are four of us. We make music together. Sometimes our songs are about machines and robots. Sometimes they are about outer space. Sometimes they are about getting lost in other dimensions. And then sometimes they are about people who aren’t sure what they’re doing in this one. We know an alien when we see one.
We are a band called Fire Flies.
Hey! We won the Emergenza final in Rothenberg, Germany! Fire Flies came in first place out of 6,000 bands, plus Seth won best drummer, and got to play in front of thousands of people. OK guys. It's been way too long since I've seen you and since your music made my body go bump bump bump. So, here's a story.
Last night I was super drunk wasted. I was watching fox 5, that 70s show or something and I eventually just passed out. I was having your average weird drunken dreams about things like snake parties and such. All of a sudden, everyone and everything in my dream starts just ROCKING OUT as hard as they can and "it's a party" starts blasting in my head. All of a sudden I start thinking to myself "wtf are Fire Flies doing in my dream right now?" and I open my eyes and right there on the tv screen are your awesome faces playing...you guessed it...it's a party.
So apparently you guys are doing pretty well for yourselves! Well enough to be sneaking into my dreams and forcing my subconscious to rock really hard. Keep it up. Love ya.
