Hello, my name is Valerie Rutherford. I was forced into getting this thing, but I usually end up checking it often anyways since it doesn't want to send me the email alerts that I have told it to. I try not to stay on too long, though. Being here... usually makes me cry.
I'm not like most people. I'm very sentimental and hyper-sensitive to everything. I have extreme Social Anxiety as well as Panic Disorder. And I seem basically miserable, but it's normal for me. I've always been this way. I have an awesome therapist named Jill, who's more of a mentor to me than anything else. These things are part of who I am, so I say it openly. Try not to let it bother you too much, okay?
My passion is writing. I've been writing for 10 years, and while I've had a few bumps along the way, I don't ever intend to stop. I write both fanfiction and a huge original universe I call The Timeline that I hope to one day self-publish. My online writing can be found here.
Because of my Panic Disorder, I never finished high school. I've always had a hard time being around people, and when the panic attacks came, I couldn't take it anymore. I tried cyber school, but that didn't work out either. After a year of struggle for my specific test-taking needs, I finally got my GED. I'm done with traditional learning and happy about it.
I believe in God, though I don't seem to fit any religion perfectly anymore. I'm a vegetarian, and animals are extremely important to me. I keep a very strange sleeping schedule. I love books, manga, anime and video games. I'm exceptionally obsessed with Harry Potter, NANA, Neopets, and The Sims 2. I also have many other fandoms.
The most important thing in my entire world is my belief in soulmates. I'm ever searching for my romantic soulmate, whom I've named Morgan for the time being. I love passionately from all my heart, and I finally want someone who will love me back. Someone just like me. I do not expect Morgan to be perfect... just perfect for me. And yes, there is a difference. I know I will find him someday, but being without him is often extraordinarily hard. I'm very lucky to have my friendship soulmate by my side as well as some other wonderful friends and family. And while we're apart, I truly hope Morgan has the same.
