Anything related to true crime. I have a weird fascination that I have been made fun of for. I, for some crazy reason, love to work. But I also love to sleep in. I love working out, although my schedule does not currently permit my typical 3-4 hrs a day at the gym. Im working on that, though. I love the funny shit that comes out of my son's mouth, and watching him score touchdowns or throw interceptions. I love people watching, and if playing pool was a career, I'd probably quit my current job. Well, maybe one of them.

I love almost every genre (except country)...Etta James, The Isley Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Bob Seger, Don Henley, Tears for Fears, Snoop Dogg...I could go on. But my main listening tastes center around things like Godsmack, Disturbed, 3 Days Grace, Chevelle, Breaking Benjamin...I shouldve just said I love music.

Television
The First 48, American Idol, Law & Order SVU, Prison Break. Those are the ones I DVR. Dont watch a lot of TV these days. Oh, wait...I cant forget about my daily afternoon lineup: Judge Cristina Perez, Judge Alex Ferrer, Judge Joe Brown, Judge Mathis, and Judge Judy. Stupid people roam the earth. And end up on judge shows.
Books
Anything true crime. I have a fascination with serial killers. Or any books on forensics and criminology. I love reading case studies. I am currently reading a book called The Lovely Bones. I cant put it down. Its fiction, but its a book that everyone must read, about a teenage girl who is murdered. She views the world, her family and friends, from her heaven. It puts a lot of things into perspective.

Anyone who can rise above adversity and not succumb to the pressures of society or perpetuate the cycles of destruction to one's self and others around them.

What can I say? Those that know me, know that I can be the nuttiest of the nuts, fruitier than Froot Loops at times. But hey, that's what makes me me! I was told once that I have the most random friends, meaning I have friends of all walks of life. I try not to be a judgemental person, because I dont want to be judged. Im not the perfect person, Im not the perfect girlfriend, I was not the perfect wife, and I am not the perfect mother. But I try. I believe honesty and loyalty are 2 of the greatest qualities one can possess, and I am one of the most honest and loyal people you will ever meet. Most of the time, to a fault. Im also very blunt, also to a fault. I DESPISE drama, and refuse to deal with yours or anyone else's. Of my random friends, I have been blessed to have some of the best. I stay loyal to those close to me, unfortunately to the death sometimes. I love my girls and would bend over backwards for them if I can. My BFF, and my bitches at Rooster's..you know who you all are.
I, myself, am very random. I have a strange variety of likes and dislikes. I can go from hot to cold very quickly, and have developed a zero tolerance policy for bullshit. Sure, everyone says that, but I have dealt with so much of it that I avoid it at all costs. I borderline OCD and ADHD. I have been described as a firecracker. Im Italian, with a bit of Cherokee, and Im a woman. What do you expect? I wear my heart on my sleeve, which is not a good thing. I prefer a hole in the wall bar over a club any day. I have become addicted to Rooster's mini corn dogs. I cant stand beer, although I have tried to acquire the taste for it. (UPDATE: Strongbow is THE SHIT!!!!) Its so much easier than drinking liquor. But I do love me a Long Beach. When Im not working, I usually wear heels. Im talkin' 4" stilletos. Its how Im comfortable. Although I have been buying stock in flip flops lately, I think. Sometimes I would love to possess certain qualites of the people around me that I dont already possess, but then I remember...Im already me. I'll always be me, and I wont change to fit someone else's ideas of what I should or should not be. I do take what my true friends think and say to heart, and I do care what they think. Other people? Not so much. So I take their advice and try to be the best person I can be. But in the end, Im just me.
