Bio:

Fireland began as a solo project, guitarist and producer Franco Lama (The Shrink) who knew the songs that Rafael had been writting during the summers, told Rafael it was time to record those songs.

Rafael went to Viña del Mar a couple of months to finish the demos, that was in the early months of 2006. At that time the idea was that franco would record the guitars and bass while Andres Torres (The Shrink, The MOX), Franco..s band fellow, would record the drums. The voices would be record by Rafael.

Franco knew that Matias Vidal had left Witchblade, he immediately contacted him to join the project. Matias and Rafael met some years ago working as Roadies for different bands.

Matias from the beginning proposed to call his old colleague from Witchblade and former bassist of Polimetro Mauricio Espinoza. With Matias and Mauricio the band focused on working on the material for the Album. Franco pick 11 songs of a total of 27, these 11 songs were recorded as demo for the band, once the production was done they proceed to record the album. This album was recorded in different studios, in a lot of sessions with the help of the great musician, sound engineer and producer Javier Bassino (Six magics, Fahrenheit, Darkemist, etc).
In early July 2007 began the guitar recordings, the bass and drum were recorded in November. With no doubt, the guitars were the hardest part to record, for various reasons they had to record the guitars almost 3 times. When Franco was in line with the recordings he began to mix the album, when it was complete, the album was mastered in "Red Sticky sofa studio " by Javier Bassino.
The album is titled God ..No Evil, is made up of 11 songs of pure heavy metal in the line of Dream Evil, Helloween, Edguy, Gamma Ray, Hammer fall, Accept, and so on. The lyrics talk of the struggle between good and evil, time, dreams and future. Trying to take a look positive and full of power in a world where we need more heavy metal. In this album appear as guest musicians Franco Lama and Javier Bassino.

After some years finally the band is formed by Rafael Castillo (Lead vocal and guitar), Matias Vidal (Lead guitar), Gonzalo Gamio (Drums) and Claudio Gonzalez (Bass). Forming a band full of power in the stages and leading a new reborn of the PowerMetal.

The Debut disk, God N’ Evil was released on december 17, 2010 with and amazing acceptation in the public and in the specialised medios.

Fireland comenzó como un proyecto solista, el guitarrista y productor Franco Lama(The Shrink) que conocia las canciones que desde hace mucho tiempo Rafael escribía en los veranos, le dijo a Rafael que era tiempo que grabara esos temas.

Rafael se fue a Viña del mar un par de meses a terminar las maquetas corrían los primeros meses del 2006. En esos momentos la idea era que las guitarras y bajo los grabaría Franco y la batería la grabaría Andrés Torres (The Shrink, Los MOX) compañero de banda de Franco. Las voces correrían por parte de Rafael. Franco se enteró que Matías Vidal había dejado Witchblade, inmediatamente lo contactaron para que se uniera al proyecto. Rafael y Matías se habían conocido hacia algunos años trabajando ambos de Roadie para diferentes bandas. Matías desde el primer momento propuso llamar a su antiguo colega de witchblade y ex bajista de Polímetro Mauricio Espinoza. Con Matías y Mauricio la banda se concentró en trabajar en el material para el disco. Franco eligió 11 canciones de un total de 27, estas 11 canciones fueron maqueteadas por la banda, una vez hecha la producción se procedió a grabar el disco. Este disco fue grabado en diferentes estudios en mucha de las sesiones contaron con la ayuda del gran músico, ingeniero en sonido y productor Javier Bassino(Six Magics, Fahrenheit, Darkemist, etc ).

A comienzos de julio del 2007 comenzaron las grabaciones de guitarra, en noviembre se grabó la batería y el bajo. El trabajo más arduo fue sin duda grabar las guitarras, por diferentes razones tuvieron que grabar las guitarras prácticamente 3 veces. Cuando Franco estuvo conforme con las grabaciones comenzó a mezclar el álbum una vez estuvo terminado el disco fue masterizado en "red sticky sofa studio" por Javier Bassino.

El disco lleva por titulo God n.. Evil, esta formada por 11 canciones de puro heavy metal en la línea de Dream Evil, Helloween, Edguy, Gamma Ray, Hammer fall, Accept, etc. Las letras hablan de la lucha entre el bien y el mal, el tiempo, los sueños y el futuro. Intentando dar una mirada positiva y llena de poder en un mundo donde hace falta heavy metal. En este disco aparecen como músicos invitados Franco Lama y Javier Bassino.

Después de algunos años, finalmente la banda está formada por Rafael Castillo (Voz y guitarra), Matias Vidal (guitarra), Gonzalo Gamio (batería) y Claudio González (bajo). Formando una banda llena de power en los escenarios y liderando un nuevo renacer del PowerMetal.

El disco debut, God N' Evil fue lanzado el 17 de diciembre de 2010, con aceptación increíble en el público y en los Medios especializados.
