About me:

Hi I'm Colleen "CC" Curtis - Writer & Vocalist for Nashville based Europop group Entropy64............ I had a blast working on the animated feature "The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything" on Universal Pictures (Directed by Mike Nawrocki). I worked as the assistant to the producer plus I have a one liner in the movie. Yippie!.......... After that I worked on another animation project for a saturday morning show called 321Penguins on NBC (Produced By Tim Hodge)........... I have been asked why did you start the Podcast. I started Firepit Friday to showcase artists and give them a platform to voice their opinions on their craft. It's a show that puts indie artists and famous artists all in one room. Believe it or not we all learn from each other, no matter our skill or tenure! ........... After producing an award winning short for the 48hr film festival (ABANDON) ........I really got the bug and pulled enough resources to create a production company called Reel Fire Films. I went to college for graphic design/photography.............. I've been a songwriter in Nashville since 1999 and have a group called Entropy64 (co-writers Jim Stelluto and Shane Gue) www.firepitfridaymediagroup.com.......... Because I meet and work with such wonderful people at the firepit I'm able to help other artists as well.......... Once recent opportunity I had was as Music Supervisor for an indie film going to Sundance Film Festival (Directed by Neil Gowan).......... My son is a great musician and has a band in Nashville TN right now the band name is Ahh We Meet Again. He is in my top 10.......... My husband puts up with me and my never ending projects. He encourages me to dream and as long as we can dream together it works.......... At Firepit Friday we have surrounded ourselves with really positive people who want to work together. All our projects have a team effort feel and each person has their own unique talent..........
