About me:
I do demonstrations and teach children and adults what to do in case of a fire in their home as well as displays for various public and private events with various shows, pictures, and information. We started the Fire Safety With Murphy program in March of 2003 as an educational program designed to teach children how to react to a fire within their home. The show normally takes about an hour to present and that includes time for questions and for the kids to meet Murphy and the firefighters. The show will entail instructing the children various statistics such as leading causes of fire and possible tragic results and fire prevention measures. While children are being instructed in the various causes and prevention of fires, Murphy demonstrates these things and is able to reach the children in a unique way. Then the children will be assisted in making fire prevention plans as well as being exposed to a firefighter in full gear. After the show the children will be allowed to interact with Murphy and ask questions.
