Fireworks: The Rock Magazine's Interests

| General | I started Fireworks Magazine back in 2000 to cater for MY kind of music, that all the so called rock mags today seem to have forgotten about. Good old-fashioned, good-time hard rock! Music that is FUN and puts a smile on your face. Who needs depressing, angst-ridden noise?? Not me, that's for sure.
So give me my 80's hair metal, my AOR and progressive rock, my melodic metal and classic rock. You'll find all that and more in here.
Anyone into this music, please add me, and join our community!
Since last year, we've also started putting on live festivals, having now done two Firefest shows. Bands appearing have included: Firehouse, TNT, Soul Sirkus, Pink Cream 69, Danger Danger, House of Lords, Danny Vaughn, Shy, Dare, Blue Tears, Legs Diamond, Casanova, Power Quest and more!!

Alan Dean Foster's 'Spellsinger' series. David Webber's Honor Harrington series - space battles have never been more realistic!! Graham Masterton - true Horror!!! Bill Watterson for Calvin & Hobbes - the funniest comic strip EVER written. Melanie Rawn for the Dragon Star/Prince series (will she EVER write another book?!!). Not forgetting Charles Schulz for Peanuts - his work was real genius, and a joy to grow up with. |
