man nehme: melodien zwischen schön und seltsam, beats zwischen break und straight und ambiences zwischen warm und eiskalt. und dann erzähle man damit geschichten... natürlich von den "knights of the diving school" (wovon auch sonst).... also vom rezept her eigentlich ganz einfach....
aber man muss der richtige dafür sein, eben wie firnwald, der mit diesem gastrelease auf tonAtom einen unglaublichen parforceritt durch die elektronik der letzten 15 jahre in 19 tracks zwängt, die man gehört haben muss.
und hört man ihm zu, dann zeigt er uns seine unterwasserwelt durch die bullaugen rostiger, öliger u-boote, durch glitzerne aussichtskuppeln futuristischer tiefseegleiter und manchmal auch einfach nur durch das leicht beschlagene glas einer taucherbrille.

but you must be the right artist to do this, just like firnwald. on this guest release on tonAtom he takes us on an unbelievable course through the last 15 years of electronic music in 19 tracks one must have heard.
and if you listen to him he guides us through his underwater world as seen through the porthole of a rusty, oil-stained submarine, through the glistening transparent-hull viewing section of a futuristic underwater glider and sometimes through the slightly fogged glass of his diving mask.
