A Brief History of Our Accomplishments
Established in 1980 and headquartered in Dallas, FirstCom Music began serving the broadcast industry with a number of products ranging from music libraries to ID packages. In 1985, we released the world's first music production library on CD for use by radio stations, television stations, networks, audio/video facilities, television programs and film producers. Through an agreement with Music House-London, FirstCom's reputation began to gain strength in the UK, and other libraries of known excellence were attracted to FirstCom Music's standards.
Our cutting-edge technology and production tools have truly set us apart. FirstCom's MusiQuick® Online was the industry's first search-and-audition program providing music downloading capabilities via the Internet. FirstCom also offers LiquidTrax(SM), giving users the power to custom-score their productions. The flexibility is virtually unlimited.
