In life your eyes and existence will change after experiencing moments that humble your heart and release your soul. That recently happened to me (Erin) after volunteering in the village of Mulago in Kampala, Uganda. I spent time with children who have nothing, yet consistently smile as if they have just won the lottery. Their school is a pile of boards nailed together over mounds of dirt that act as a learning haven and a playground for these amazing children. While I was there visiting Colette & volunteering, Christine,the head mistress presented me with the drawings for a new school. She did not ask for anything; but it was quite obvious that without money, this simply is a piece of paper holding a huge dream. After the positively overwhelming amount of love that these people shared with me, Colette and I felt that with no question in mind we want to pay it forward to these unassuming children and raise the much needed and deserved money to build them a new school. We need $50,000.00 to build a very modest yet accessible building and literally every penny counts.
Thanks to the children of Mulago Village, our eyes, heart and soul are forever changed and by reaching out, so will yours. I know we all have needs in our life, but if you have the means to help us pay it forward your generosity will accomplish unbelievable dreams for the people of this African village.
We are asking for anything you can give, bake sales at your kid’s schools, cash donations, and any charity ideas you have in mind will be beyond helpful. Please contact us with any ideas, plans, questions or donations. Thank you so much for your loving hearts and kind donations.

Hello ladies!! I just wanted you to know that I saw the article in the Helena newspaper today, and I am so proud of what the two of you are doing. This project definitely pulls at my heart strings, especially since I am a teacher!! If there is ANYTHING I can do to help, please let me know!! I will be in Helena for Xmas break (the 19th-30th) so if you need extra help for the fundraising events, I am just a phone call away!!
