FirstGlance is Philadelphia's Independent Film Festival since 1996!
FirstGlance Film Fests are the 1st and fastest growing truly indie film fests in North America. In 2008, FirstGlance embarks on its second decade of filmmakers, events and an online presence to create the first real world and online festival in the world.
FirstGlance is the only truly indie film festival in Philadelphia and one of the few events on the East Coast that enables, exhibits, nurtures and promotes truly indie films and filmmakers to audiences hungry for alternative entertainement.
In 2008, all Official Selections are eligible for DIY self distribution and online download distribution through our new network of distribution companies.
Feature and short screenwriters will also have an opportunity to be a part of the festivities this year,the finalists will be announced at FirstGlance Film Fest Philly!!
In the past 5 years, 30 of our 40 feature length Official Selections have gone on to theatrical or DVD distribution and you can see some of our best shorts and a collection of FirstGlance features at www.indiepix.net
