Born on January 16, 1987, in Dorchester, MA, Leon Porcher is truly a one of a kind artist. Priding himself in wearing all hats necessary to get things done, JetBlue is truly the heart of the First in Flight movement. With his ability to bop and weave through any beat effortlessly and oh so cleverly, it is clear JetBlue is one of most gifted rappers to come out of the east coast in quite some time. But what truly sets JetBlue apart is that he is truly one of better all around musical talents in the game today, all of which is evident through the body of work already on display. From the age of 14, JetBlue was never satisfied with writing a few rhymes in a notebook; he wanted those rhymes to be heard. This desire lead down a path most rappers are weary to travel on, not because they choose not to, but because they simply do not possess the talent nor the mindset it takes to make it happen. After turning his closet into a recording booth, Leon began both producing and recording large amounts of music, remixing commonly known tracks, as well as creating new ones. While most young rappers were still scribbling in their notebooks, JetBlue was making his rhymes immortal, with only one objective, making sure these beats and rhymes would be heard by the world one day. Like an athlete who had been playing a sport since his youth, the next level became inevitable, at age 17 JetBlue co-produced he and his brother D.O.T.’s very first album “Back to the Basics”. Self-funded and promoted, “Back to the Basics” was released on October 6th 2005. The album was distributed through a number of stores in the New England area as well as iTunes and amazon.com. Though the album did not do as well as hoped in the numbers column, it did wonders for the confidence of both JetBlue and DOT. It was clear to them that they belonged. Today JetBlue is a writer, producer on the duo “The Wright Bros.” (Producers of entire DOT album “American Lit” due out in stores this upcoming fall), and engineer to all the First In Flight music. Talents like JetBlue are extremely rare but always manage to make a stamp on the game in one way or another, and Leon Porcher plans to be no exception.
D.O.T.
Born on March 8th, 1982, in Chicago, IL, Elumah “D.O.T.” Porcher is the unquestionable spinal cord of the First in Flight vision. Without his leadership, the dream to take flight would be just that, a dream. The same person both in the booth and outside of the booth, D.O.T. truly brings the kind of intensity that you can’t help but to feel motivated by. With his deep raspy delivery, D.O.T.’s presence never fails to be on display on any track, but often overlooked is the depth of the lyrics. An east coast rapper through and through, D.O.T.’s lyrical depth is one that is truly unparallel when compared to other rappers in the industry with same type of deep, raspy delivery. Often you find one or the other, but with D.O.T. you can’t help but feel like you’re receiving both. Beyond his musical talents, D.O.T. is a man looking to get things done, from the days of the “Back to the Basics” album; D.O.T. never wavered in his belief of his own talents and that of his team. In many ways the single biggest inspiration in pushing younger brother JetBlue to get on the same mentality that it would take to truly make their dreams reality. With his duo album “Back to Basics”, released on October 2005 (Self-Funded and produced), under his belt, D.O.T. is looking to take those lessons learned and make an undeniable splash on the music industry with his solo Debut album “American Lit” due out this upcoming fall. The album promises to truly be one of the more complete debut album the game has seen in a long time, delivering a complete new and unique sound due to the fact that it is being produced in-house in its entirety by the Wright Bros. To prep the world to the album, a mixtape well be released towards the end of the summer and will be available in its entirety completely free to the public. D.O.T. looks forward to impacting the industry both musically as well as becoming a one of its top executives. With a heart that makes up for small stature, there is no question D.O.T. has himself and First in Flight headed in the right direction, a direction that will soon pick up its pace and eventually sore into the sky.

We have been plotting, studying the industry’s moves, not setting up to be one and done, instead to become the next great legendary label with the next great all-around artists.
