About Lady Clown

Lady Clown, an emerging theatrical alt-rock outfit from New York City, pairs fresh melodies with needle-sharp lyrics to multi-dimensional songs and stories.

Lady Clown is co-lead by Benjamin Scheuer (vocals/guitar) and Geoff Kraly (bass/vocals). Ben and Geoff produced the debut album First Lady Clown with veteran engineer Peter Denenberg (Deep Purple, Spin Doctors, Martin Sexton). The record moves deftly from the winding portrait of “Calling All Cars” to the shattering intimacy of “Fathers’ Day.” Driving the album’s arrangements is young power-house drummer Josh Dion.
