About First Street Playhouse

We are currently in negotiations for a fantastic new location in Geneva, IL! We are extremely excited about the prospects of the new space and the productions that we are planning to mount there. Sunday - January 21, 2007 7pm Open mic for music (Acoustic acts only please), comedy, poetry etc. Come on down and try your stuff out. $2 for performers, $3 for audience - Hosted by acoustic comedy dudes Lord and Schwartz. This event will henceforth (ooooh nice usage) take place on the third Sunday of every month.

Gag Reflex and The First Street Playhouse in Batavia are throwing a bash to welcome in 2007 and toss the carcass of 2006 out the door. For the all inclusive price of $45 you get food, dessert, beverages (including beer, wine and pop - PLUS you can BYO hard liquor if you like), a champagne toast at midnight, a two hour comedy revue by the Chicago suburbs hardest working sketch comedy group - GAG REFLEX, an aftershow party and countdown to midnight AND a special performance by sketch comedy upstarts ACID REFLUX.
