The Fabulous Firwood Roadhouse has been around since 1923 bringing the sound of Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Country, Funk and now Top 40 with Hip Hop. A truly unique, friendly and laid back "Come as you are" Party atmosphere on a grand scale! 10,000 square feet of fun (not including the beer garden) allows the "Largest Party in the South End" allows you to still roam around a sea of beautiful people! We have kept many traditions from the past but have adapted with the times as well. We have been serving generations of people in a true roadhouse environment making sure you leave smiling. =) The Firwood has lasted the test of time earning a reputation for the best place to enjoy live music. Until tradgically we were the victim of Arson May 16th 2008. Providing a place for fierce, friendly and Safe Fun is our goal and promise to you. Hosting plenty of National acts in our imfamous past. We pride ourselves on honoring our rich history as well as looking towards the future to become your premier nightlife destination. We pride ourselves on just keeping you informed as a myspace friend. Not over blasting event invites and constant bulletins every 5 minutes. Rather, a bulletin a couple times a week laying out what we have in store at "The Wood Nightclub" Which we are relocating to the infamous Drakes building in Tacoma Wa. We are currently in the Remodeling and building Phases of this project and we look forward to seeing you all at our new location! =) We would be honored to be your myspace friend!

Who I'd like to meet:
The Wood Nightclub and Rock & Roll Eatery which is now changing names and location to 734 Pacific Ave in Tacoma, Wa. (Formerly Drakes) This will be the premier place to experience the same Firwood type atmosphere but on a multi level club experience. We will pride ourselves on being the Southends' Main place for dancing, dining, drinking......It's your night, Make it a GOOD one......Get together with friends or make new ones with similar interests and obviously great taste in music! Lots of space to dance and play, Intimate enough to sit and socialize!
