After releasing in 2006 their excellent 10th record "Still Stuck In The Throat" (10.000 copies sold in Europe), Fishbone continue to cut across the planet, spending everywhere their kaleidoscopic music, this incredible mix of rock, ska, funk and punk spirit which influenced so many bands as Tool or the Red Hot Chili Peppers (that Fishbone bring on tour with them for the first time). After being forgotten during the early 2000’s, the band came back thanks to their exceptionnal live performances and started a new career on Ter a Terre, 20 years after their formation in Los Angeles. Still considered as one of the best live band in the world, Fishbone is about to prove it clearly: First official CD&DVD live of the legendary californian band, record in Bordeaux in April 2008, in currently on mix and will be available in early may 2009. It will be a beautiful double-digipack, which will be for sure the only missing object in the amazing discography of Fishbone.
Après avoir sorti en 2006 leur 10e album (le très bon "Still Stuck In The Throat", vendu à plus de 10.000 copies en Europe), le groupe mythique à l’arête de poisson continue de sillonner la planète pour y porter la bonne parole d’une musique décomplexée et aux influences kaléidoscopiques, mélange incongru de rock fusion, de ska, de funk et d’esprit punk, souvent imité, jamais égalé. Après un passage à vide au début des années 2000, ceux qui influencèrent et firent découvrir au monde les Red Hot Chili Peppers (ceux-ci faisaient la première partie de Fishbone à leurs débuts) se voient offrir par Ter a Terre l’occasion de démarrer une nouvelle carrière 20 ans après leur formation à Los Angeles, et reviennent au plus haut niveau grâce à des performances scéniques exceptionnelles. Le premier CD&DVD live official du mythique groupe californien, enregistré à Bordeaux en avril 2008, est actuellement en cours de mix par Stephane Kraemer, et sera disponible dès avril 2009 sous la forme d'un magnifique double-digipack. Un 1er CD&DVD live officiel qui s'annonce exceptionnel, à la hauteur de leur prestation époustouflante de ce soir-là (2h30 de concert), et qui vient combler le seul espace encore vide dans la belle discographie de Fishbone.
