There is hope. New effective treatments are just around the corner, and we are the world's largest research team leading the battle against Alzheimer's disease. The Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Foundation funds over 85 scientists across the United States, with partnerships and collaborations in 17 other countries, all under the direction of Nobel laureate Dr. Paul Greengard at The Rockefeller University in New York City. The 10,000 square foot laboratory is one of the most advanced facilities of its kind in the country outfitted with the latest equipment necessary to undertake an assault against Alzheimer's disease.

The Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of a totally redesigned website for the Alzheimer’s community, www.ALZinfo.org.
Visitors to the site will find the look to be inviting and sophisticated. The site’s usability and navigation has been simplified to make it very user friendly. A special feature is ALZTalk.org. Like MySpace or Facebook, ALZTalk is a fun social networking environment that utilizes all the advantages of web 2.0 technologies complete with user profiles, forums and chat rooms. One community member wrote: "I have met so many wonderful people here…and it's so nice to be able to share ideas and get some much needed support".

Thank you for joining my circle of friends.I,volunteer full time for Hospice.Ninety percent of the residents have Alzheimer's Disease.I,love volunteering so much. My dog is also a therapy dog!! She is a three and a half pound chihuahua. The residents all love her. My Grandmother has Alzheimer's;she's has been diagnosed for four years now but she has had it much longer.

I would like to inform you that my father past away yesterday! He had Brain Cancer and Lung Cancer and Alzheimers, he is not longer in pain! Im so thankful! Thank you for all the Support and HOPE you provide people. It sure helped me, and will continue helping me, b/c I never know when I will be faced with such a horrable illness in the future.
