I thought of bolding this intro, but then decided against it. If you can't read a section of something without checking out the beginning (the topic sentence, if you will,) you need a helmet. To make a valid and all-inclusive about me is to create something that encapsules all of my personality traits, abilities, and experiences. Therefore, I either need to have an about me that is in constant update, or refuse to change or grow as a person. Seeing as the former option is yet to be technologicaly possible, and the latter is unpleasant and theoretically impossible, I must do what I can. Rest assured, I have put a lot of work and thought into this about me. I find the form to be artistic and pleasing. I have even included personality charts based on other's opinions of me. So if you don't believe what I say, you can at least believe what they think.

Now, you may say, 'What is the point of putting such thought into these things? Surely it is a shallow venture.' To that I say, 'Shut up.' While it is true that one can argue that this entire website is a superficial-shallow fest, I feel that one can attempt to at least insert a little meaning and thought, and, provided that one is honest with their information, it is easy to find information about friends and particular interests. Sure, the information is outer layer, however, once that knowldege is obtained, any future encounters can be spent discussing the non-superficial.

Then again, I may simply be blowing smoke. Even though I can have such thoughts, I am still human. I too, can be shallow and superficial, hence the myspace. I guess, that ultimately, it is a balance between the two, as sadly, a lot of philosophy tends to be.

Enjoy this about me, and if, when you are done with it, you feel confused or offended, get a helmet.
