About me: Fishlips is a fantastic fusion of music, cocktails and food. Created in 2000 Andrew Wilkins and Shawna Haddad Byers reinvented this wonderful venue and have redefined Bakersfield’s standards for live entertainment. Murals featuring legendary performers, signed guitars and music memorabilia grace our walls as the perfect setting for this intimate venue. Don’t let our size or location in Bakersfield fool you, the five Grammy Winners & Eight Grammy Nominee performers have all expressed or have returned for more performances. Once you have experienced a show at Fishlips, it is difficult to see a show at any other local venue. Our extensive menu offers steak sticks, seared ahi tuna, pastas, salads, tacos and one of the best hamburgers you will ever have. 32 Martinis, 12 beers on tap, 40 different vodkas, rum, scotch & Bourbon. We proudly pour Pabst Blue Ribbon on tap to Johnny Walker Blue and everything in between. Since we are a 21 and over venue we are the perfect place for your business lunch or to enjoy a night out at one of our shows. Music, cocktails and grill…it’s what we do! We are open Tuesday through Friday 11am to 2am, and Saturday 3pm to 2am.

I can't believe I'm doing this, but I'm raffling of my baby. I've had this Bass for three years, and it's been very good to me. I hate to see my bass go, but I need a new one with a slimmer neck, and faster action, and these thing aren't cheep! This Bass is not only a good instrument, it's a piece of art. This Bass was painted by local artist, Jason Janes, and it's a head turner. Painted Buck Owens red, white and blue, it's the perfect tribute piece.

This Bass is set up for Rockabilly slap, or Blue Grass music, and the pick-up system will not be included.
Raffle tickets will be sold starting at 7:00pm at Fishlips. Tickets are $5 for 1, or 5 for $20. Ticket price does not include $5 cover to enter show.
