Fishtail Parker GB is where Lime's and Geoffrey Williams' musical sensibilities intersect. Both Brits, we were brought together by mutual friend Graham Peacock, Moloko and Roisin Murphy's manager, and hit it off immediately discovering that we had very similar cultural references i.e. music of the late 50s to the late 70s, 60s UK TV and fashion, artists such as those mentioned, etc.
So, this is our project, reinterpreting the music of those artists that inspired us to become singers, writers, show offs, celebrating our musical heritage in a stripped down style an' fashon! Check our vision statement in the blog.
Thanks for the add. I will take a bit of time to really listen to your stuff and then e mail you with my review Geoffrey (via your comments on Amazon.com).
Good to know that you are so open to feedback.
All the best with the new venture!
