Fish - One Two Red Blue - EP..

*********************************

Hailing from the birthplace of John Martyn and Eric Clapton's old school, friends Tom & Harley formed Fish! with identical twins Harry & Fraser in 2001 at the age of 11 for a school talent contest. In 2005 they came second in Xfm's national Rock School competition, with their brave and remarkably moving version of Pink Floyd's 'Wish You Were Here', winning deep respect from judge Lauren Laverne. In January 2007 they won a Battle Of The Bands, earning studio time and live radio interviews. Still at school, they gig regularly across London and played this year's Cornbury Festival, building an enthusiastic and vocal fan-base. Their 4-track self-penned debut EP, 'One, Two, Red, Blue', is produced by Calum MacColl. There's a long list of fans waiting to get their hands on a copy.

**********************************

"Brilliant"
- Lauren Laverne

"As poised as catwalk models"
-The Sunday Telegraph

'At a time when the music industry is upside down and the search for future talent seems lost, you find four lads called fish! that are having fun making music....and they just happend to be talented too (it helps you know). A breath of fresh air.... Good luck lads keep it real."
-Ronan Keating

"Great singers, great players, great guys"
- Brian Kennedy

"They can write, they can play, they can sing and they look good, what else do you want?"
- Colin Vearncombe (Black)

"Just how I like my Fish, young, peppered with spice and an assortment of flavours. This Fish Rocks!'
-Sarah Jane Morris

'Thank God for real music - Thank God for fish!'
- Martyn Swaine (Bass w/ The Waterboys/Aimee Mann)

"Sounds like teen spirit is alive and rocking and this band have plenty worth listening to. Fresh Fish anyone?"
- Simon Edwards (Bass w/ Billy Bragg)

"This band craft and perform their music with a musicality that is way beyond their years, add to that the raw energy that only youth possesses and you have something that only comes once every ten years…. I bullshit you not!"
- Liam Bradley (Drums w/ Van Morrison/Ronan Keating)

Jul 7 2008 10:59 PM

it went ok - packed it out, but then on the last song (our single on our single launch) everyone got on stage, screwing up our equipment, unplugging guitars, so we had to stop... the floor was breaking as well. It's a shame that all the all age crowds seem to ruin the shows for themselves...

“Put Mama Shamone on at any venue and they are likely to take the roof off, this was one of the best live shows I’ve seen in years - certainly one of the best in London. In my opinion these guys are destined for greatness, it felt like I was witnessing history being shaped-something was just so right about what they were doing up there.” Vibe Bar
