Fish represents the next generation of young Chinese electronic music artists blazing a new trail through the developing scene. He first rose to prominence with The Antidote crew, alongside fellow Void member Shanghai_Ultra. Very much a fan of the minimal sound, from the original creators Plastikman and Dan Bell, to the modern microhouse coming out of Europe, Fish's enthusiasm for new music, and natural DJing ability marks him out as a star of the future in the Chinese scene. The Shanghainese 20-year-old isn't limited to minimal however - he's known to drop the odd gem in the middle of dance sets and has a penchant for electro on the detroit tip.
Shanghai's infamous and independent party crew The Antidote is coming to Beijing. For 2 years, this team of local and foreign electronic musicians and DJs have been tearing up the Shanghai scene with a mad eclectic mix of cutting-edge music and legendary underground DIY parties.
Expect a mix of eclectic music choices, from trip hop to India/Bhangra music, to dirty electro-punk, to minimal techno and IDM, to global ghetto pop, and some of the crew's own productions.
