Olongapo City has birthed such hardcore bands -- it appears as though every few years, there's a band that leads a new charge, that band was Fist Foundation. Formerly known as Headmess originally formed by front man Mark Teves(vocals), and Jero Divino(bass) then joined by Meynard Madria(guitar) also from the band Drastic Intent, Augos (guitar), and Pado(drums) of Subliminal Level. After their first gig on the EFM Production and Northern Atmosphere Production, Augos left the band for some personal reasons, the quartet pushed through with their old compositions. After loads of gigs Pado decided to part ways to concentrate with his other priorities paving the way for a new drummer. The band is later joined by Francis Clark(drums) of Chainblock on the mid of December 2004 completing a new and permanent lineup. Despite another change in line-up, they manage to keep Fist Foundation alive and well-off in the local underground scene. Fist Foundation played on different productions in Cavite, Batangas, Manila, Pampanga, and of course their hometown Olongapo City. The band pursued and came up on new materials with their sound of In-Your-Face Hardcore music. A recording pushed through on which the quartet attempted to broaden their sound. In June 2005, they recorded their first demo called FACES OF BRUTALITY. Boasting of seven tracks which was recorded with minimal overdubs--- Faces of Brutality took only two weeks to finish. All the songs in the demo possesses the sound Fist Foundation has always been known for: The aggressive attack of HARDCORE. After the recording of Faces of Brutality they decided to add another guitarist and JP Hondo, former All Under Heaven is the perfect man for the job. Finally, Fist Foundation's final line up is complete and ready to send their message accross in a way they like.
