We're all members of the Whisk-Hutzel family who started playing loud rock music in a kitchen nine years ago to release the tension of being wanted by the law. We released our EP, Math Octopus, just before the Crows moved to Memphis in 2000, but we kept the flame alive with teleconferenced practices across the state of Tennessee and the occasional performance at the Cedar House in Cookeville. We finally reunited in Knoxville in 2002 and never looked back, releasing Damn that year, Order of Events in 2003, The Cheap Way Out in 2004, Cabezas Fritas (recorded by Zack Buersmeyer in a whirlwind 24 hour period) in 2006 and Rebuilding Trent Lott's Mansion in 2008 (all available on Whisk-Hutzel Records). These days, we can be found turning life on its head, doing 180s and hopefully raising hell on stage somewhere or hanging out together drinking beer and listening to records. NEXT UP: A SHOW IN YOUR LIVING ROOM. Enjoy!
